A global materials science and digital identification company that provides branding and information labeling solutions was at a crossroads. It had grown to include an expansive network of shipping and operations centers in several countries and had recently completed a significant acquisition that brought its headcount to approximately 36,000 employees. Its many disparate business units needed to consolidate multiple ERP systems into a single technology platform to bridge the gaps between supply and finance planning.
Stakeholders wanted to replace the manual, one-off processes they used for financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and sales and operations planning (S&OP).
