IBP Process for End-to-End Supply Chain Management

A vertically integrated, family-owned manufacturer and retailer sought to fully support and further enhance its omnichannel strategy by implementing an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. With numerous new products entering its catalogs for big holiday rushes and 60% of their business sales from Christmas and Mother’s Day, the company needed better forecasting, replenishment and reporting methodologies to reduce its on-hand inventory levels, as well as its manufacturing volatility. Work began with retooling their existing S&OP processes, but also included benchmarking assessments and training, with the help of the Inspirage Management Consulting team.
