OTM Cloud 20C – Top New Features

OTM Cloud 20C Release Notes

Keeping you informed on the latest features and functionality of OTM Cloud is one of the things we like to do here at Inspirage. We have rounded up some top features and functions from Release 20C in this infographic and have a few major highlights listed below.

Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and Global Trade Management (GTM) will provide enhanced functionality with the Quarterly Update 20C to customer environments in August, September or October depending on your cadence.

New feature highlights:

  • UI Performance Metrics – new metrics provide users with a rolling statistical snapshot into the performance of the interface components including: Finder Servlets, Finder Result Servlets, Manager Servlets, User Actions, Application Utilities, and Servlets, & Diagnostic Servlets.
  • New Shipment and Agent Action – allows the user to change the destination level of service (i.e. Standard to Expedited)
  • OTM Consol Capabilities Extended – extended to fully support the process of booking/reserving full container load (FCL) slots on a vessel/voyage before order releases are available for planning. When available, the OR’s can be planned to the reserved capacity, without eliminating any previously planned ship units on the consol shipment.
  • XML Schema Validation Tool – provides the user with an easy to use XML validation tool that will ensure that an XML is valid. User only needs to paste an XML in the “XML to Be Validated” window and then select the “Validate” button.
  • Merge Shipment Ship Unit Action – allows a user to merge shipment ship units together into one. Previously, one could only merge entire shipments together. This feature allows a user to select the specific ship units that need to be merged.
  • Multiple GTM Enhancements – improvements to supplier solicitation/campaign management, trade agreement, and restricted party screening.
