Our client’s on-premise infrastructure made a variety of traditional accounting tasks needlessly tedious and time-consuming. One of the more labor-intensive jobs for accounting teams has historically been reconciliation. Prior to working with Inspirage, the client’s accounting team performed reconciliations manually with multiple match processes. Because the client’s accounting team was handling as many as one million transactions each month, the monotonous nature of manual reconciliations (most of which were related to point of sales accounts and bank statements) stymied productivity and took teams away from performing other important tasks that require thoughtfulness and critical thinking.
