Leading tabletop and housewares producer moves off of Agile PLM to Oracle Cloud PLM and CPQ
Outdated technology is a major constraint on any company’s business process evolution, as well as its overall growth. For our client — a major producer of dinnerware, kitchen tools, coffee and tea accessories — an existing Agile PLM implementation had run its course. This manufacturer sought to modernize its technology stack and realize higher performance and greater areas of use across its product lifecycle management (PLM) activities by migrating from Agile PLM to Oracle Cloud PLM.
Prior to this engagement, Inspirage had worked with this customer providing Application Managed Services and supporting its cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. For this implementation, Inspirage guided them through a transition to both Oracle Cloud PLM and Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) over the course of several months, resulting in easier software updates along with a more streamlined process for managing how the manufacturer interacted with its suppliers.
