A Construction Equipment Manufacturer Builds Configure-to-Order Solution on ERP Cloud
An industrial manufacturer, specializing in construction equipment such as wheel and crawler excavators and wheel loaders, had recently acquired a facility in the U.K., further extending its international presence. Following this acquisition, the new site represented almost one-third of the entire firm’s production but required a complete overhaul of its IT systems to synchronize its operations with those of the rest of the company. Inspirage was contacted to help with the switchover to multiple Oracle Cloud solutions.
The facility’s existing IT infrastructure was highly complex and deeply intertwined will all aspects of its operations. In particular, its complicated configure-to-order (CTO) system presented unique issues which required Inspirage’s extensive CTO experience to resolve. Oracle and Inspirage provided post-go-live support for this solution.
