Integrate legacy, on-prem Order Management systems to Global Order Promising Cloud
The footprint of Oracle Cloud planning solutions has expanded in recent years. One of the products in the Oracle Cloud ecosystem is Global Order Promising (GOP). While Oracle has provided template-based (File-Based Data Integration) integration capabilities to collect the master, transaction and historical data for planning and forecasting purposes for many of its products, it has only made available the REST service for GOP Cloud. Clients moving only their planning capabilities to Oracle Cloud, still expect their order management systems to function seamlessly in conjunction with their order promising system. Inspirage recognized this challenge and has developed a solution that has been deployed successfully at multiple clients. Leveraging the Oracle provided REST service for Order Promising, we have successfully integrated the Oracle EBS Order Management system to Oracle GOP Cloud. The solution has been built to allow our clients to flip between on-prem GOP and GOP Cloud easily to allow them flexibility. The solution is not restricted to use with Oracle EBS Order Management. It can be integrated to any client ERP system.
