Presentation topic: Planning for Configured Products in a Complex Environment
This presentation was provided to the Oracle Application Users Group’s Supply Chain Collaboration Special Interest Group on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. EST. This presentation was similar to the one provided at Oracle Open World, but focused exclusively on the supply chain planning topics.
In this presentation, Kevin Creel, Agile Planning Group LLC, reviewed a large scale Oracle Applications client example that has achieved success by implementing many of the Oracle Advanced Planning capabilities that support Configure To Order products. The session focused on features related to demand forecasting, sales order scheduling, and how Seiban functionality was utilized to link products across the extended supply chain.
